Lisa and léo

Lisa Roche and Léo Troisgros were born in the early 1990's, within a few days of each other. He creates for himself his own range of ideas in the magic of the kitchens at Troisgros, a cuisine that he loves and understands, endless inventions that he adores. She has a taste for big challenges, learning pastry cooking with her grandmother's old-fashioned scales, composing comfort food dishes, remembering the first sips of wine enjoyed in secret.

By evoking their childhoods, both of them encapsulate a single word: freedom. At the age of 21 they meet and set out to discover the real meaning of the word. In Berlin, while she studies History and he has fun working in kitchens where no boring rules apply, together they discover an underground, alternative, experimental culture. Their common tastes lead them to places fizzing, like them, with creativity. Their closeness, in contrast, is all the more reinforced. They travel to Japan, experience the variety of the 72 microseasons, are transported by the strangeness and the beauty, by the aspects of the culture and rituals that really are eternal and timeless.

On returning home, inspired by her passion for winemaking and her admiration for women who have a talent for hospitality, Lisa joins Leo and his profession, embraces the man and his story. Today, in this celebratory moment where both imagination and energy shine through, Lisa and Leo are redesigning with one stroke La Colline du Colombier.
