A living space

Turned into an inn, a gîte and a house, the three farm buildings have been restored while making sure its national heritage character would be kept. In the house, there are, “ La Chambre d’ à Côté”, a little further, the gîtes of the long-standing Longère with its Tower, then, on the edge of the estate, facing the verdant valley, three buildings built on stilts, called “ Les Cadoles”.

folles cadoles

Because it inspires its own vocabulary and lifestyle, La Colline du Colombier also includes three timeless lovenests constructed of natural materials, the creation of the Troigros family and the architect Patrick Bouchain, Les Cadoles – a term familiar to the winemakers of the Burgundy and Beaujolais regions. In this intentionally internet-free zone, there is no WiFi but instead an ambiance and its particular fragrances.

Gîtes bucoliques

La Colline has two separate lodgings, each sleeping four people. They offer the opportunity to sample the simplicity of a thoughtfully adapted rural style of architecture, a reminder of a time when it all made sense.

la Chambre d’à côté

La Chambre d'à côté is situated opposite Le Bois Mangé. It is the place to make the evening last a little longer, ideal for wisely putting off the next stage of the drive to the next day.
